Zappos $500,000 Stop My Wife Shoe Shopping T-Shirt

Mega shoe seller Zappos.com has come up with a very creative stunt to prove the extreme popularity of their site.

Zappos is selling a $500,000 Cease and Desist t-shirt that proclaims you paid $500k to stop your wife or significant other from shopping anymore at Zappos. 

The t-shirt also comes along with a guarantee that the store will permanently disable your sweetheart’s account for life.  Once you have paid the $500,000 chunk of change, one of Zappos’ Customer Loyalty Team members will hand deliver the shirt to your home and will provide your spouse a shoulder to cry on for one hour. 

This seems similar to several SNL skits, it’s great as an idea, but when it comes to the actual implementation, not so great.  If you read the fine print of Zappos guarantee, you will see a disclaimer state that they cannot be held liable if your spouse creates another account with a different email address or finds a friend to purchase shoes for them.

All in all though, this is a hilarious idea.  Idea.  Idea..
