While the World’s Most Expensive Tattoo isn’t actually a skin-piercing version, we suppose it’s a tattoo nonetheless.

South African Shimansky brand model Minki van der Westhuizen spent more than eight laborious hours having these 612 Shimansky Ideal Cut .5 carat diamonds encrusted on her skin using a water-based adhesive to show off the luxury brand’s wares.

The world’s most expensive tattoo is valued at 7.2 million South African rands, or around 924,000 US dollars, and the luxury jeweler has considered making similar tattoos available at any of their eight South African or four international locations.
