Ahhh, Japanese Sake…I’ve had my fair share of memories with this rice libation.
And now to the world’s most expensive sake. Well, we all know that there are three types of luxurious sake: junmai, ginjo and dai ginjo; which all have been distilled so that all the rice has been processed away.
The most expensive sake in the world, offered by True Sake, is a dai ginjo sake called Kame no O sake by Wataribune. At $500 per 720ml bottle, you must sip this sake in order to truly understand its beauty & subtlety.
