Teleportation Breakthrough

A group of physicists from the University of Denmark have actually managed to teleport “information from light to matter — involved for the first time a macroscopic atomic object containing thousands of billions of atoms.”
Wow. Are we going to be all Star Trek soon? CNN goes on to report,
“They also teleported the information a distance of half a meter but believe it can be extended further. ‘Our method allows teleportation to be taken over longer distances because it involves light as the carrier of entanglement.’”
Wowsers. What do you make of that?
