TEAC’s VPI HR-X Turntable

I have to admit, I know nothing about turntables. So, you can imagine my surprise when I discovered that there’s one out there on the streets going for a cool $19,000.
The VPI HR-X Turntable by TEAC features a new belt-driven design that comes with a 50-mm thick platter which actually floats on an air suspension system at 45rpm.
The luxurious turntable is expected to go on sale in Japan starting in mid-June. So, you’re gonna get at least two, right?
