First of all I have to reveal that I love it when companies call their products by cutsie little names that fit the object like a glove.  So when the fast wooden car, Splinter, hit the road, you know I was tickled.

Say hello to Splinter, no he’s not a part of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (heros in a half shell).  You might think this wooden vehicle can’t compete in speed due to the weight of wood, but there, my friend, you would stand wrong, as Splinter can outrun even a Porsche or any Lamborghini you throw at it.

The speed of Splinter is due to what is under the hood, of course, but also of the extremely light combination of its woods:  maple, plywood & MDF.  Since it’s lighter than the steel & metal competitors, this baby can reach a top speed of 240mph.  Not too shabby, eh?

There is no price as of yet nor word on color choices, but this machine it just about priceless.
