Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe to Make Debut in Geneva
March 6, 2007 | Posted by bLavish as Furious Luxury Cars at 10:24 am | (3) Comments »

The brand new sexy & luxurious Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe is schedule to make its European debut this week in Geneva as part of the famous motor show. The Phantom is said to be starting production at the company’s UK plant in Goodwood this summer, but we all know how that card sometimes gets played, don’t we? Delays, delays, delays.
The highly anticipated two-door, four-seater convertible is a little less classic than previous Rolls-Royce designs, but still the same sexy we expect from this company. The Phantom has been made from a lightweight all-aluminum spaceframe & hand-built using only the finest materials available.
I think I speak for everyone when I say this is one car that has been worth waiting for.

Well, it will certainly take me a little while to get used to that design. Truth be told, I actually do like it, but the previous poster had a point – looks like it ought to be pulled with horses! But this is probably what makes me like the design – it may not be classic, but it is intuitive and very creative. A little mix of old and new. I guess, that’s what Rolls Royce often do.
The blue color looks fantastic – that’s probably what makes it look very modern at the same time. A car like that in Black will probably look like it needs to be pulled by horses! And brown as well. Brown would look cool, though, in an old fashioned sort of way. Nice, actually!

That is one beautiful car; I’m a manufacturers representative for an upscale luxury vehicle manufacturer. If you’re willing to spend six-figures on a Rolls Royce, take a look at a Coach House…Rolls Royce doesn’t offer a bathroom or a 26″ HD Flat Screen with BOSE theater surround sound….LOL. No; I’m not in sales, I just love talking about any and all luxury vehicles. Just in case you’re wondering; Coach House manufactures upscale small, maneuverable, motorhomes for the most discriminating buyers. Like the Rolls Royce, these luxury coaches are NOT built on an assembly line and are engineered with the only the highest quality materials. YES they are expensive; but worth every dime if you’ve achieved the status to afford one (like Rolls Royce). A list of Coach House owners reads like a “Who’s Who”, including a very well known “big screen” actor.
My son recently asked what it was like where I work. I told him “It’s like working at the North Pole”. He asked “it’s cold there?”. I replied; “no…I work where they make the really nice toys”.
