Rent-A-Dog For Fashion?

It looks like you can rent just about anything these days, which now includes fashionista canines.
A new British (of course) company will soon be offering you the option of renting a fashionable dog for the day, the perfect accessory it would seem. Flexpetz enables you to not have to fuss with the every day tribulations of pooch ownership, instead renting your choice of pet for around $50 per day.
Flexpetz is expected to launch in Spring 2008 & I just can’t wait to see how this whole thing works out. “Yes, hello. I would like a mini poodle in a ballerina outfit for the day. Yes, charity dinners are so stiff sometimes, darling.”

This is a terrible idea!!! So you get a pet for a day? Maybe people enjoy it, but what about the dogs? Ever thought of that? Obviously not! Dog’s thoughts: Cool, so this is my new home, hey why am I back here, oh this is my new home, WHY DO THEY KEEP BRINGING ME BACK HERE? Dogs have feelings too, infact some dogs are actually SMARTER then SOME people. Besides a dog for a day, won’t they be nervous with you? They will have to get used to you first BEFORE, you can pet them or anything (which could take weeks). Plus they could poop when you go somewhere or pee because they are nervous!
