Rare Blue Diamond To Sell For Up To $8.5 Million

blue-diamondA rare and flawless blue diamond will be going up for auction at Sotheby’s Magnificent Jewels auction in Geneva on May 12.

The cushion-shaped 7.03 carat diamond is expected to go for between $5.8 million and $8.5 million.  Along with the pride of owning this beautiful diamond, the winning bidder will also be naming the diamond that was found in South Africa’s Cullinan diamond mine.
