well i have one of these poles and you can bear your weight on it i can do most upside down tricks on, and others that include the concord, firemans spin, seated spin, angel, and box legs... it may be spring loaded and advises you not to put your weight on... but i am 9 and a half stone and it holds my weight, i am not a profesional pole dancer but yes i can do all the moves, just because i dont show my tits and moves in a strip club dont mean its not properly done!

I would assume by seeing that it's spring loaded, that you wouldn't try and bear your weight on it.... Then again, most people who would actually buy this, don't know garbage about dancing on a pole, they're not professionals. They just want to have fun, so why would they attemp to do the stripper type moves?

Heh, there goes that line of logic that most people follow. *rolls eyes* And they say people have common sense. Curses, foiled again!

This is a cute little product for fun though.

Did you know this pole was targeted toward children in Britain? What are people thinking? And doesn't the girl in the picture look a bit young?

Great ... except you can't actually do any tricks on this thing without the possibility of serious injury.

It's NOT designed to take your weight, so leave your feet firmly on the ground. If you want to smooch around it and wiggle, no problem - if you want to do spins or climbs - get a proper (not a 'toy') pole!!

Shame on you Peekaboo for irresponsibly promoting this as a proper pole. How many hospitalisations will it take before you think about some incorporating some clear safety warnings?!
