The prestigious timepiece makers Bell & Ross collaborated with with Shaw Harley-Davidson in London to create this stunning Nascafe racer. The center console has a custom Bell & Ross Carbon 01 timepiece that will serve as both a clock and a race timer. But it’s not just the timepiece that is luxurious and unique. The body of the bike is based on H-D’s classic FXSTB Softail Nightrain. Notice the gorgeously knotted muffler system and the bike’s custom pain job in anodised blue, carbon, and matte black.

The Nascafe made its debut at London’s International Custom Bike Show. Although there is only just this one model, it will be exhibited at several other European motorcycle shows this year. The Nascafe is a serious bike for a serious collector.

Fly Direct To Turks-Caicos On JetBlue

While JetBlue might not exactly be a luxury airline, it does seem to have a few more amenities than a lot of the other carriers these days. That whole in-flight TV thing might seem a little gimmicky, but it makes for a nice flight. If you’re into television, it’s a relaxing way to pass a few hours, but if you’re not, everyone else is watching TV, so you’ll have a nice quiet flight. In any case, JetBlue used to fly to only a few locations, but they’re really branching out.

In February, for example, they began direct service from New York’s JFK airport to one of the world’s premier vacation destinations, Turks and Caicos. This promises to be a great vacation plan. If you’ve never been to JetBlue’s Terminal 5 at JFK, it’s easily the most comfortable and well-stocked airport terminal I’ve ever seen. If you’ve never been to Turks and Caicos, the islands are known for their excellent beaches and scuba diving.

Hearst’s Seventeen magazine will reportedly be going more luxury-oriented with their April issue.

Adweek is reporting that the April style guide will be much more lavish this year, featuring many more high-end products than usual, such as a stunning pair of $400 Marc Jacob shoes for the teen in your life.

Editor-in-Chief of Seventeen, Ann Shoket, explains, “We 100 percent do not want to alienate our readers who want to shop at accessible price points. We always want to be at reach for our readers…But there’s something to be said for delicious designer splurges. This style guide was a real reaction to that.”

While we understand Shoket’s point of view, in this current market, we expect you wouldn’t want your teen to pick up the April issue!

Now that winter has stopped rearing it’s bitterly cold head, it might be time to add a little more flash back into your wardrobe. Well, these metallic leopard-print jeans will definitely do the trick. They have everything that a high-glamour springtime staple should have. First, there’s the leopard print. I know it can come off a little Dynasty-era, but not if it’s done right. What you’ve gotta do is take them a little more rock-n-roll. The metallic gold is going to help you out a lot in that regard, as will the ultra-skinny, low-slung style.

At $950, this kind of bling jean doesn’t come cheap, but the combination of high design and rocker chic is a real winner. Why not break out of your winter whites and beiges with something a little more exciting than your average springtime flower print?

Geoffrey Parker, the British game-maker has produced the most expensive set of poker chips in the world. Not just because f the denominations shown on the chips, either, although those are significant and can be tailored to the desires of the customer. Each chip is encrusted in fine jewels. White chips have white diamonds, red have rubies, blue have sapphires, emeralds for the green, and the black have black diamonds.

Not only that, but the chips come housed in a gorgeous case, which is covered in alligator skin and lined in suede. The interior frame is lined in white gold chips, each inlaid with stringray skin. Total, there are over 1,000 carats of gems in the set, more than 20,000 jewels in all. Not to mention the four platinum-plated sets of poker cards and the dealer button inlaid with two rows of white diamonds. This is some pretty serious bling to be sporting at the poker table, and it’s safe to say that it’s for high rollers only.

Sabatino & Co To Open New American Outpost

March 12, 2011 | Posted by bLavish as Expensive Eats at 9:00 pm | Comments off

Sabatino & Co, one of the world’s foremost purveyors of truffle products, will be opening a new store in Boston on March 24th. The store will be located in Boston’s upper crust Newbury Street. In addition, the company will be starting to sell their products online on March 21st. Why is all of this news? Because Sabatino & Co is the largest American importer of truffle products, and supplies many of the most famous restaurants in the world, like New York’s Per Se, with them.

The store will carry their famous truffle salt, condiments, cookbooks, and a new line of body care products. I’m not really sure about the idea of truffle soap, but I love the idea of being able to use the same ingredients my favorite restaurants use in my own home. Both the online store and the new brick-and-mortar shop are sure to be popular with American foodies. Sabatino & Co is also planning to open stores in New York and on the West Coast by year’s end.

100,000 Carat Gemstone Mona Lisa Reproduction

March 12, 2011 | Posted by bLavish as Artsy Fartsy at 5:00 pm | (1) Comment »

The world is reproduction crazy. I’ve seen the Mona Lisa on handbags, mugs, postcards, magnets, even throw pillows, but this really takes it to a new level. A jewelry collector in China recently constructed this over-the-top reproduction of the Mona Lisa using a mind-warping 100,000 carats of gems. If that number seems ridiculously high, well, that’s because it is. This woman has been collecting gems to make this baby for the past 30 years. Would Leonardo be proud? I’m just not sure.

Anyhow, it took the gem collector and several Eurpoean craftspeople five years to finish this extraordinary, um, work of art. It’s being displayed by a jewelry store at a mall in Shenyang City to celebrate International Women’s Day. Women of the world, rejoice! You will probably never own this many jewels in your life, but the mystique of feminine beauty will be showcased in them always!

Vapor Pro iPhone 4 Case By Element Giveaway

March 12, 2011 | Posted by bLavish as Cell Phones at 3:36 pm | (1) Comment »

A site that I definitely keep a close eye on, Luxist, is currently giving away one of these gorgeous Vapor iPhone 4 cases by Element. What I really like about the case is its low key combination of beauty and durability. Personally, I am an OtterBox loyalist, but let’s be honest, the thing looks like a tank. The Vapor, in comparison, looks like a wisp of smoke. But a highly protective one.

Another great thing about the case is how easily accessible all the ports and buttons are, and because the case is metal, the portion over the antenna is made out of polymer so that it won’t interfere with your signal. Luxist describes the look of the vapor as “masculine”, but as a woman, I beg to differ. It’s just minimal and tailored. It retails at about $150, but you can enter to win one until March 18th.
