Pablo Picasso’s “Homme a l’epee” painting has recently sold for a record amount at auction.

The bright red musketeer painting sold at Sotheby’s sale of Impressionist & Modern Art for an impressive $11.5 million.  A bidding war ensued at the auction with international collectors calling in left and right but the “Homme a l’epee” painting finally sold for the whopping $11+million.  If only Picasso were here to see this.
