Michael Jackson’s Estate

With the sad passing of the King of Pop last week, everyone is wanting to know what will happen with Michael Jackson’s estate and how much it is actually worth.

As of right now, that question is a bit difficult to answer.  With Neverland Ranch still up for sale and the cancelled European tour dates, there are many complications with MJ’s estate.

The estimated debt of Jackson looks to be around $500 million which has basically accumulated over the years of frivolous spending and a couple of molestation lawsuits.  You know, the usual.

Neverland Ranch should fetch somewhere around $70 million and his 251 Beatles’ songs ownership total around $500 million to $1 billion.  So even despite the large debt, MJ’s estate could very well end up being decent enough.
