Mariah Carey Makes Offer on World’s Most Expensive Estate

Apparently, despite the current economic environment and the state of the recording industry, pop star Mariah Carey made an offer on the world’s most expensive estate, Fleur de Lys.

Located in Beverly Hills, the expansive and impressive estate features a whopping 15 bedrooms, 41,000 square feet, Italian marble walls, gold-leaf crown moldings, ceiling frescoed ballroom, fully stocked library, two full-sized gourmet kitchens and a 50-seat screening room.

Fleur de Lys is listed at an astounding $125 million.  Now let’s see if the supposed Mariah bid actually goes through.

    41,000 square feet? I heard it was 35,000 square feet. Anyway it won’t be big enough for Mariah’s ego.

    All that luxury is wasted on a hoodrat like her anyways. Hope the place has rats.
