This New Year’s Eve, my cousin Kate, who also happens to be one of my closest friends, got engaged. Immediately after celebrating this wonderful news, I started thinking back to the complications of planning my own wedding, and began wondering how I could help her stay organized and happy through what is inevitably a stressful process, even in the most ideal circumstances. This pretty little Lanvin notebook should do the trick.

Okay, so it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of some wedding organizers, but in my experience, no one actually uses all that crap, anyways. What you really need is a nice, simple, pretty notebook to keep all your ideas, lists, and contacts in that isn’t so frilly that it makes you sugar sick. This is one of those notebooks, reasonably-sized, reasonably-priced, simple, chic, and it has an elasticized strap (like a Moleskine) to keep it all together. Buy this for every bride-to-be you know.

It would have paid to have been invited to actress’ Eva Longoria & Tony Parker’s wedding this weekend.

Not only would you have been able to rub elbows with celebrities in every corner, if you were a female guest you would have received a Van Cleef & Arpels Sweet Alhambra bracelet. Amazingly enough, this bracelet isn’t even available to purchase yet, Longoria was able to get a sweet deal from the company & be the first.

Last Friday was World Aids Day & a creative seamstress from New York decided to commemorate the day with a very interesting, painstakingly difficult wedding dress.

This particular wedding dress was fashioned from 12,500 individually colored & hand-stitched condoms. The result was actually quite lovely & you can rest assured that on your wedding night that you’d be well-covered in that area!
