Located in classic America’s Greenwich, Connecticut, Mel Gibson’s Old Mill Farm still awaits your claim. On the market now for over a year, Gibson has dropped the price several million to entice you further. The estate’s new asking price is a paltry $35 million, which is pocket change to you, no doubt.
Featuring 77 acres of rolling land, this property was designed by architect Charles Lewis Bowman back in 1926, but don’t you worry, there have been some changes since then of course.
Along with the prestige of residing in Mel Gibson’s home, with this estate purchase you will enjoy 15 bedrooms, tennis courts, walk-in fireplaces and all the Braveheart feelings you can muster…

There’s always a home available in marvelous Malibu, but what about a $65 million estate? Well, those tend to be a little less frequent, especially properties this nice.
Welcome to the former home of William J. Chadwick, one of the higher-ups at the capital management firm Chadwick Saylor & Co. I guess if you’re name’s on the building, you’re somebody special.
This amazing 10,500 square foot estate features no less than 150 feet of beach front in the Carbon Beach area, a 75 foot pool with luxurious spa, and an expansive wine cellar. What more could you ever ask for?

Ted Koppel has been at it again! The journalist has one again slashed the asking price on his spacious Potomac, Maryland estate. Jeez, I guess you just can’t be Ted Koppel & get a celebrity break.
Built in 1968, Koppel’s home is starting to show its age a bit, from the dated brick fireplace to the infamous track lighting. But if you can stand some outdated features, this estate is really quite charming with nearly 9,000 square feet, an indoor pool with sauna and a very handsome maid’s quarters area.
Not bad for $1.79 million if you ask me.

So, the world’s most expensive yo-yo is being tackled today here on Blavish. Wanna know how much it sold for? Try $16,000. Not too shabby, eh?
Lemme throw a little history your way, yo-yos were actually invented by the Chinese back in, drumroll please,….2500 BC. Wowwy wow. But it was not an oldie that reached the height of being the world’s most expensive yo-yo. No, it was a newbie, a Cold Fusion yo-yo.
Made of airplane-grade aluminum, the Cold Fusion yo-yo was made using a ball-bearing axle & break pads for quick response. What makes this yo-yo stand out, besides the high grade aluminum, is that the longest recorded yo-yo spin was made using a Cold Fusion yo-yo. Wow, who knew?

The world’s most expensive M&M? Who would have thunk it? But, if there is a consumer-driven product, then there, by law of commerce, has to be a most expensive one, eh?
So, the world’s most expensive M&M….bet you can’t guess how much it sold for? Try $1500!
Yep, the most expensive M&M, which was a brown one, sold for an astounding $1500. This special M&M was aboard Paul Allen’s SpaceShipOne on June 21, 2004 when it completed the first privately funded spaceflight. Wow, did the buyer eat it?

Any time I see “the world’s largest…” or “the world’s tallest…” I cannot help but to think on Dubai. No matter your feelings about this awakening luxury giant, Dubai is roaring with feats, such as the world’s largest (drumroll, please)……Arch Bridge. How exciting, arch bridges have always made me feel all hot & bothered, what about you?
The mile-long arch bridge will be soaring at 670 feet at its tallest point & will span 12 lanes of traffic. Oh, and I forgot, will also feature a metro line running down the middle of her belly. It wouldn’t be Dubai if it was just the world’s largest, you know. It has to be at least the world’s largest, plus adding a little Dubizzle flavor.
Though work will be slow, the largest arch bridge should be ready for any traffic you want to put to her by the year 2012, though if recent movies prove correct, we’ll all be zombies by then anyway.
