If you’re like me, you get a little misty-eyed when you think of your dog in a kennel or at the folk’s house while you’re on vacation.
But it looks like we know have a way to soothe (aka confuse) our best friends. PetsCell is a voice-enabled device, that happens to be waterproof, which allows you to speak to your pet anytime. You will have your own specially assigned number so you can call & soothe the pup of your heart.
Now, I’m all about pampering the pets, as my husband can well attest to, but this seems a little too much. Poor, confused dogs everywhere- voices coming out of their collars….

After a long day of running about, jumping around, begging for treats and yipping for attention, our four-legged friends need a place to unwind. The noise of the city and the bustling streets are enough to put any pooch on the edge. So, why not treat your best friend to the best salons in Manhattan.
The Ritzy Canine Carriage House:
According to their website, the Ritzy Canine Carriage House “has become synonymous with excellence in all aspects of pet care”. And they should be with overnight care including room service spa meals, private suites and limousine services.
John Larson is in charge of the massage program at Ritzy. He had developed a special massage combining elements of Reiki, myofascial release and acupressure. He works with dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. He loves his canine clients saying, “The respond well to therapy because they have no skepticism.” Larson’s fees start at $30 for 15 minutes.
Does your pooch need a little bit of royalty in his life? Scott Smith, the CEO of Biscuits & Bath, is ready to treat your special pet with pampering and devout attention. Most appointments start with a brush-out followed by the perfect bath. The treatment will be specific to his or her needs; whether it be an oatmeal bath for the sensitive skin or hot oil for thick haired pups.
A standard grooming package will take approximately two hours and includes a manicure, pedicure, brush-out & bath. Rates start at $50.
Maybe you both need a day to relax and appreciate the comfort of pampering. Why not drop off the pooch and make yourself a spa appointment?
