Day After Valentine’s Flower Bouquet, $1200

February 15, 2007 | Posted by bLavish as Luxury Gifts at 11:52 am | Comments off

orchid-bouquet-2-15-07.jpgI have found that the day after Valentine’s Day usually results in one of two ways.  One way is that you both feel invigorated after the previous evening’s events & all the good lovin’ you shared.  Another way it tends to work out is that you both wake up the day after feeling tired & cranky after an argument-filled evening.

When the latter happens, you know what to do.  Nothing says ‘Oops’ like flowers, right?  And this bouquet is just what the doctor ordered.  This beautiful orchid arrangement features 12 fresh stems of  White Phalaenopsis orchids delicately arranged in a Tiffany Jade Blue vase.

Cost for your Valentine’s Day callousness, $1,200.  All I can say is better luck next year!

waterford-ornaments-12-18-06.jpgWell, the holidays are right around the corner & I know you’re ready for them.  But if you still have room for some improvement on that Christmas list of yours, take a look at these beautiful Precious Gems Christmas Ornaments from the legendary Waterford company.

These lovely ornaments are designed by Jim O’Leary & made of optic glass decorated with gold glitter topped with gold-plated caps.  I feel like if you’re going to use the word ‘Gems’ in your Christmas ornament description, they had better have some precious gems, but these babies do not unfortunately; these ornaments are just “inspired” by the gemstone colors.  Too bad & so sad.  Cost, $40 - $60.

Take out your kitchen aggression on The Ex Stainless Steel Knife Set.  This hilarious knife set holds five knives in various slots on his body.

You not only get five high quality stainless steel knives, you get a plastic person to put them in.  Available in black or red.  And if you really want to take out those angry feelings, post a photograph on the Ex’s face, that might do the trick.  Cost, $80.  A lot for angry knives, maybe an anger management class is better suited for that amount of money.

Phone Bag.jpgThinking about what to get mom this year for Mother’s Day?  Forget the tired bunch of roses & greeting card and grab hold of this funky phone purse.

You’re thinking it’s just another recycled product idea, right?  But this new phone purse gadget has a trick up its sleeve.  The darn thing actually works as a telephone, though sadly not as a cell phone.

This handy bag can be plugged into a landline and used as a normal phone, forget asking your friend if you can use their phone, just plug in & away you go. Purse comes in red & black & measures 11″h x 10″w. Cost, $295.
