I was in a bookstore just yesterday & came across a childhood favorite- tangrams! I would spend hours creating shapes, creatures only I could see & make all the pets I couldn’t have from a llama to a zebra.
So naturally I was very excited to find these Tangram Shelf Systems from Italian designer Lago that allows the user to create & arrange your shelves in whatever manner suits your mood & fashion sense.
I love these & think they are a brilliant idea. 12, please!

One phrase I like to reflect on often is this: The search for simplicity only gets more complicated. Meaning, of course, that our search to be more lazy & effortless in our daily lives only gets more complicated by all the gadgets that we buy & have to maintain.
And I believe I have found the worst gadget by far for the fearlessly lazy. The Easy Desk Aluminum is designed for those people who prefer taking on life lying down. Not a bad position for some things- sleep, missionaries, and the like.
But for those who don’t have the fear of appearing too lazy (Mcguyver) the Easy Desk is just for you. All you have to do, now- this may be too much for you but we’re still looking for robot helpers for you, is wake up, lean over & grab the Easy Desk & go. Now, that isn’t too much is it? Now, all you need to do is reach in your wallet & buy the darn thing for $58.

Make fun designs while you scratch up the CDs you no longer need. Don’t worry about finding a USB-powered CD shredder when you can just have fun scratching the ones you don’t need any longer with the USB Elecom SCR-CD001 CD Scratcher.
Basically what the SCR-CD001 does is scratch the CD until the information stored is completely unreadable. Just pop her into your USB port & scratch away all that private info. Cost, $30.

So, there’s a section of the world that still hasn’t gotten used to the “qwerty” keyboard, or why or who even developed such a monstrosity. And for those people who use what we like to call the ‘hunt & peck’ method of typing, we have a gift for you this holiday season, the Pecker Keyboard.
Now, don’t take the name too close to heart, we don’t really think you’re peckers, but really hunt & peck peckers, get it? Well, this new & handy keyboard features a more simplified alphabetical system sure to drive the rest of us crazy, but good for you.
Hunt & peck no more! Cost, $70.

Not only will this Honeywell HS-NE03 LED Triple Fan cool your room up, it will cool your room.
The Honeywell HS-NE03 LED Triple Fan will maximize the efficiency of your AC as well as your style. The LEDs are a nice touch to a necessity such as an air circulating fan, I’m just not sure it’s me. What do you think? For a cost of $150, I think my room will have to be a little less cool, if you know what I mean.

At my house we’re always losing our keys. We have finally found them in the dryer, in the dog bed & even in the refrigerator, don’t even ask how long those took to find! I think we only found them because we gave up & had a beer.
Anyhoo, what we need are these fabulously cute His & Hers Key Holders. All you have to do is drive home, enter the house, insert keys in appropriate gender & you’ll never have to rush around in the morning & be late for work ever again.
Cost, $29 for singles & $49 for the pair. Do I hear holiday gift idea? I think I do!

Are you ready for a new, modern pay to save your change? Maybe with a little snout in the mix to boot?
Well, say hello to the Pig E Bank which keeps track of all that change that would otherwise find itself in the neverland of the couch. With the Pig E Bank, all you have to do is insert your coins & let the pig keep track. As you add your change, this one-swell-pig keeps a running total & displays the count on the LCD screen.
Not too bad for a humble pig. Cost, $24.95. Do I hear a cheap savings account for your piglets? Not a bad idea.
