I’m all about multi-purpose items, & it looks like me & designer Rick Lee might be on the same page.
Lee’s new Dune Sleeper Sofa features a rug that basically spills over the sofa onto the floor, although they are sold separately.
“An homage to the desert’s natural elements, the multi-functional Dune seating/sleeper rug unit is a brilliant cornucopia of butterflies, geckos, poppies and birds. With the rug’s spellbinding serpent design gliding across the soft curves of the seating unit, it serves as a sofa or becomes a lounge sleeper for two.”

Wow. Don’t you just love the idea of this Clear-Seal Coffee Table Aquarium?
In truth, I don’t know how the cleaning process would be on this kinda thing, but it looks amazing. The fishy table comes with a light diffuser, aquatic plants & rocks, plastic filter cover as well as an acrylic table top. Cost, $3,000.

Looking like it was just made out of sturdy felt, this Volant Sofa looks inviting enough. Designed by Patricia Urquiola, this unique piece of furniture kinda looks like my nephew made it, though I would place bets that he wouldn’t ask that much for it.
You can get more of this Volant line, as Urquiola has designed an armchair, chair & stool as well.

I love wicker. I just can’t help it. I think I was born & said, “What the heck is this?! This hamper isn’t wicker!”
And designer Domila Lua feels just the same way with the new Outdoor Wicker Club Chair. This cleanly-designed wicker chair has a very Latin American feel to it. Featuring a foam cushion & throw pillow of your choice of color, this is a real winner for the summertime. Cost, $2,000.

Okay. The question for today, is how much do you really love computers? About $2,000 much?
Well, the South American company, Recycla Chile S.A., has done the computer up & it’s different from anything you have ever seen. Say hello to the Computer Parts Stool. Being eco-friendly, Recycla Chile has created a stool made from recycled computer parts.
Each stool is unique & maybe that’s why they’re asking $2,000 per. But, to be honest, it doesn’t look all that comfortable really.

All I can say is that I want three! This amazing design by Agnar Ferchland is perfect in an open-windowed room.
This Oakleaf Chair & Acorn Ottoman were designed by the artist after an afternoon walk through a local forest. With a satin steel base, the chair can be ordered in a variety of fabrics & leathers. Love it!

Some would call this man a genius, some would call him lazy, I prefer to just call him smart.
Not a whole lotta information available on the gentleman who installed a TV as well as a stereo system into his bed’s headboard, but he’ll always be a hero to me. I mean, come on, if we could get a computer installed that way, half of us would never get out of bed!
And I think I just stumbled upon the greatest idea of the century! CompuBed!
