One of the best treats around the holidays is making your own gingerbread house. I never really acquired the skills (and patience) to detail an edible house, but I hear it’s fantastically fun & quite rewarding, I just never saw the point of constructing something so beautiful, just to rip it up & eat it later. It would be like building the Taj Mahal, then tearing the thing down. Just an odd tradition I suppose.
Anyhoo, back to the Williams-Sonoma Personalized Gingerbread House. This gingerbread house kit puts the other such kits to shame. The structure is constructed of a very yummy cookie dough that has been enhanced with molasses, honey, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger & allspice. Woah, this baby has it all! The home also features a beautifully decorated exterior with white icing, gumdrops & peppermint sticks. But what makes this gingerbread house leave all the others in the holiday dust, is that you can personalize this one with your name or any other word up to eight letters, sorry to anyone with an exceptionally long name. Cost, $49.

Are your kids a little wired? Need to release them to a bit of exercising before bedtime? Well, have we got just the thing for you, a treadmill just for kids.
The Kid Treadmill is the perfect height for children and features a normal treadmill display to indicate your speed & the distance covered. The speed can be adjusted to suit the level of exertion you need from your child, or how much time off you need to watch your shows. Cost, $100. Not too bad for a healthier babysitter than the TV.

How are the kids doing on brushing their teeth? Having about as much luck as training a rhinoceros to ride a tricycle?
Well look no further than the Talking & Singing Toothbrush. This toothbrush specifically designed for the kids plays a song or voice recording when they are brushing their teeth. A built-in sensor activates a recording upon detection of brushing motions allowing your children to enjoy the fun of a singing toothbrush so they never put it down.

I made a recent web discovery, I stumbled upon a fantastic luxury furniture site for infants and children. Bratt Decor is three words, infant & children opulence. They have been designing and crafting infant & children’s furniture since they were expecting their first child in 1995.
From cribs, changers, twin beds, cribs, chests & twin beds, Bratt Decor is everything opulent and luxurious for your children. I have picked out my favorite two items.
Bring elegance few can in a crib with the Bratt Decor Venitian 3 In One Crib Gold. This crib has a bold and beautiful presence, not to mention comfort and versatility. Pictured here with four posters attached, this classic cast iron crib comes complete with four posters and canopy cross bars, which allows three completely unique looks. Colors available: antique white, pewter, slate & Venitian gold. Cost, $875. I wish they had one in my size.

Let me just say, can that picture be any cuter? I think not. When it’s time for the growing-up years, try on the Bratt Decor Dick Twin Bed for size. This bed creates a beautiful classic look for your child’s room. The twin bed is constructed of solid wood, with a row of solid wood planks, and fits a standard twin sized mattress (no box spring needed). Available in the following finishes: black, cherry red, navy & white. Cost, $1045.
