Omega James Bond Watch.jpgLuxist enchanted me today with their post on the James Bond Omega watches.  I, myself, love to pretend I am a spy sometimes and this would be a great addition to my collection, I could put it right next to my chest of camouflage moustaches & spy PC.  Here is Luxist now….

“In the James Bond books by Ian Fleming, Bond wore a Rolex but for the past few movies, Bond’s been an Omega man. Pierce Brosnan wore an Omega Seamaster Professional Diver in his James Bond movies (Brosnan was also an Omega spokesperson). Omega has released two James Bond watches before and the one shown above, the new Omega Seamaster James Bond Limited Edition is one of the first James Bond watches to be equipped with the co-axial escapement. The 41mm stainless steel watch uses the automatic Omega caliber 2500. The dial features the James Bond logo and the second hand has the 007 gun logo on one side. The watch is a “limited edition” of 10,007 pieces. I wonder if this means that Daniel Craig will be sporting an Omega in the new James Bond movie.”

A 007 gun logo for the second hand, get out of here!  I won’t let you say that isn’t cool.  If only there was a bond girl watch….

The Perfect Luxury Gift For Him

Christian Dior Luggage Trolly.jpgNow that we have the ladies taken care of, let’s get to the men folk.  What is the perfect luxury gift for men?  A large, impressive gold watch?  A large, impressive leather wallet?  Or a large, impressive new Mercedes?  I’m thinking a large, impressive, beautiful piece of Christian Dior luggage, let him travel in comfort and trendy style.

With Dior’s slick travel gear your man is sure to turn heads.  Textured black-on-black logo coated canvas provides elegance, while the rugged roller wheels provide practicality and sophistication.  Whether he’s being kicked out and needs a nice luggage trolley to pack up all his video games or you’re both off to a weekend in Paris, this is the perfect luxury gift for any man.

What is the cost of this fine, large & impressive piece of luggage?  Why, it’s only $2230.  I do wonder, however, if you’re going to spend that much on luggage, why not just buy brand new outfits while you travel?  Just a thought.
