The word on the street is that the stunning Audi A5 may just have a partner in crime, a convertible.

That’s right, an Audi A5 convertible is in the works.  Since Audi pretty much specializes in drop-tops, we’re thinking it’s a safe bet to assume that’s the look the company will be aiming for.

The infamous Car Connection is also reporting that an RS model is planned for the new A5 line.

With Audi already admitting that the new line is a part of their strategy over the next ten years, we can only hope to expect great things.

While the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe turned heads in Geneva this week, so too did the new Maserati.  The newest Maserati around, the 2008 GranTurismo coupe has been more highly anticipated than milk after a large gob of peanut butter.

The new Maserati coupe places “four full seats behind a 405hp, 4.2-liter V8 on a two-door steel monocoque frame, driving by wire to the 19″ (or available 20″) rear wheels.”

The GranTurismo is about 16 feet long & weighs in at over two whopping tons.  The coupe is capable of reaching 62mph in a matter of five seconds & the top speed is about 177mph.  Not too bad, for a Maserati.

We all love a good Audi & the Audi S5 Sports Coupe is just that, a good one.  Say hello to the recently unveiled images of the new Audi sports coupe.  I can’t image many things more sexy than this sports car, can you/

With a 4.2L V8 engine, mated for either a six-speed manual or dual-clutch S-tronic gearbox, this coupe is anything but ordinary.

“Apart from the obvious ‘S’ badging, the new S5 will be differentiated from regular A5 models thanks to the slightly more aggressive front bumper, a strip of LED running lights below each headlight, chrome highlights on both the front and rear bars, plus quad-exhaust tips to finish off the tougher appearance.”

Ha!  I have to send a shout-out to BornRich on this one!  You can now own the original Pink Panther car & I know you want to!

This amazing pink car is the creation of  Hollywood builder Jay Ohrberg.  23-feet long & 6-feet wide, this baby’s gonna need about 12 parking spaces at Wal-Mart.  On eBay, of course, you can now own this pink monster for about $147,210.00.  Come on, how much is a dream worth?  And I’ll warn you, there’s already one bidder out there trying to steal this Pink Panthermobile from under you!

When you take this car out on the town, you are sure to be noticed.  The results are still out on the impressing-the-ladies poll for this particular model.

The Galmer Arbitrage GT Supercar will feature left hand drive/right hand drive changeability, a digital touchscreen interface, carbon fiber Monocoque & a Pioneer navigation system.

The Ferrari 599 Fiorano unveiled at Geneva Motor Show 2005 is now available for purchase, should you have that kind of spare cash.

More good new, as I know you’re falling out of your seat already with either happiness or envy, is that the Ferrari 599 Fiorano comes equipped with an iPod dock connector as a standard feature.  Man, I’m not sure my Honda even has power locks as a “standard’ feature.

So now you can enjoy your tunes while driving the all-aluminum Ferrari 599 at its top speed of 205 mph.

The Italian company Smeg is celebrating the new release of the 2007 MINI Cooper models by producing a frig to match.  Finished in Laser Blue with the classic White Bonnet Striping, the FAB28MC will be a fantastic accompaniment to your MINI.

But you better be on your way, there are only 250 special edition refrigerators units available.

TechArt Revamped Porsche Cayenne Turbo

August 16, 2006 | Posted by Allison as Fast & Furious Cars at 1:00 pm | (7) Comments »

cayenne_1.jpgOur favorite pals TechArt have just unveiled their new, revamped Porsche Cayenne Turbo.

The new Cayenne Turbo now sports a modified twin turbo V8 engine that pumps out 600bhp & can make it from 0-60 in under 4.5 seconds.

Top speed, you ask?  183mph.  Not too shabby, for a Porsche.  I’m more of a Bugatti girl myself.

Gold Leaf Plated Car.bmp

Say hello to the world’s first gold plated Porsche.  The car is actually plated in leaf gold, not gold plate- making it much less impressive & expensive.  But still highly entertaining & frivolous.
