This Tehama Grasshopper Condo, designed by Fourgeron Architecture, has been featured on the cover of Metropolitan Home Magazine. The extraordinary modern design has also received numerous design awards. The condo, which is located in a fabulous San Francisco neighborhood, has been reduced to a listing price of $3.995 million from $4.128 million. So, why isn’t anyone snapping up this fabulous, award-winning home?
The converted warehouse turned a lot of heads when it debuted in 2007, but so far, no buyers. It’s a spacious 5,000 square feet of concrete steel and glass. Perhaps that’s the problem? The design is striking and light-filled, but the stark materials make it feel, well, a little cold, maybe. To warm it up, there is a courtyard that connects the building to the loft, and a decent amount of wood. Still, it might be a little too industrial and avant garde for buyers to consider homey.

Rose McGowan, infamous Hollywood starlet and star of the 90′s TV hit, Charmed, has recently put her gorgeous Los Feliz home up for sale. The Art Deco decorated home has a retro modern elegance that is comfortable and beautiful. There’s that, and the fact that the neighborhood ain’t bad either. Ms. McGowan’s notable neighbors include January Jones and John Hamm (who aren’t a married couple, but play one on Mad Men), director David Fincher, and Laura Prepon from That 70′s Show.
The house is listed for $1,849,000, which is $1000 less than the actress paid for the home in 2004. The market was different then, but the home is still totally gorgeous. At 4,278 square feet, it has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The estate isn’t particularly large, but there are several outdoor patios and terraces that are great for entertaining. The villa, which is designed in a combination of styles, opens onto an impressive tiled entrance hall with cavernous ceilings. It’s not the most enormous mansion on the block, but one of the bedrooms might have been converted into a giant walk-in closet, so it might be just the right place for another hot, young actress with a penchant for designer clothes.

Tiger Woods’ 10 acre luxury estate is finally finished, even though the golfer is now sans wife Elin Nordegren.
Located in one of the richest zip codes in America in Jupiter Island, Florida, Woods’ estate features a 4-hole golf course of course, running track, 100-foot lap pool, 5,700 square foot exercise and training facility and even a Michael Jackson hyperbaric chamber.
The $50 million home, which used to be four separate properties, is tucked away in “a small stretch that has the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Intercoastal Waterway on another side.”
Well, when you live like Tiger, you need to be tucked away!

Supermodel Kate Moss recently plunked down $7.5 million pounds for this posh Highgate estate. She will reportedly be cohabitating with rocker boyfriend, Jaime Hince of The Kills. Highgate is known for housing some of Britain’s hottest stars, and Moss’s neighbors will include Jude Law, Sienna Miller, Sting and Trudy Styler, and sometimes residents Pierce Brosnanand George Michael. Doesn’t sound like a bad little welcoming party, does it?
The house itself is something of a literary manse. In the early 19th Century, Romantic poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge was in residence at the estate, where he famously smoked himself into a slow, tragic opium stupor. He died in the home in 1834. Later, novelist J.B. Priestly lived in the home, but apparently his time there was less dramatic than Mr. Coleridge’s.
The mansion boasts 7 bedrooms, 7 fireplaces, 2 kitchens, and 4.5 bathrooms. There’s also a generously-sized wine cellar on the premises and a study called the “Coleridge Room”, where perhaps Miss Moss or Mr. Hince will pen their own drug-fueled literary masterpiece.

Luxurious hotel chain Morgans Hotel Group has just unveiled a new program that will be available in five of their properties dubbed “Minibar for the Mind.”
For those luxury travelers who would rather think than drink, this new “Minibar for the Mind” offers a well-designed box filled with box of 250 conversation starters, columns written by faculty at The School of Life, “Reading Prescriptions” designed for relaxation as well as some for seduction and a notebook and pencil set.
The set costs $56 (suggesting, perhaps, that minibars are extortionate whatever you put in them) but guests who don’t want to shell out for the product will also be treated to a “Daily Aphorism” with their turn down, with insights from some of the world’s great literary minds.
$56 is about five mini liquor bottles from the real minibar, so we’re thinking this would make an interesting companion for our next Morgans stay.

None other than actor Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart have placed their luxury estate in Chelsea on the real estate market for an almost reasonable $16 million.
The 9,000-square-foot loft located on Seventh Avenue in Chelsea shares some interesting neighbors, both Meryl Streep and Janet Jackson live in this exclusive locale and now you too can walk into luxury housing fame, well as long as you have upwards of $15,000 per month to keep up the place.
Reportedly, Ford and Flockhart who have homes in Brentwood, California and Jackson Hole are looking to purchase an estate closer to Steven Spielberg in the Mandeville Canyon area, but who can keep up with these celebs?!

The world’s most expensive apartments, One Hyde Park, just celebrated their grand opening.
Opening their doors for the first time, the UK’s One Hyde Park was officially unveiled Thursday by property duo, the Candy brothers.
Each luxury apartment includes a valet, wine cellar, private spa, home cooking by award-winning chefs and of course, a panic room. Only 86 residential flats make up the luxurious One Hyde Park, which average about $9500 per square foot.
The launch is being carefully watched as a litmus test for the financial health of the world’s super-rich and their appetite for London in the wake of the financial crisis.
Well, if it’s any indication at all, we wouldn’t mind kicking up our heels at the Park.
