If you haven’t fallen into the iPhone vortex, and I must admit that I have, there are plenty of other interesting phones out there, some of which do a far better job of being an actual telephone than most of the supposedly smart technology out there. This Ascent Ferrari GT phone by Vertu is one of them. It’s design is inspired by, duh, the car design. This compact and ergonomic luxury phone has a titanium design and matte black finish, and with the red leather accents, it looks about as sleek and ideal as anything I’ve seen, except perhaps an actual Ferrari.
The design isn’t just ergonomic and aerodynamic, it also has fabulous details that increase not just the phone’s beauty, but also its tactile pleasurability. The smoothly blunted edges just beg to be fondled, and no I’m not trying to be perverse, they’re actually designed to be fondled. Might as well, since most of us have more intimate relationships with our cell phones than with our significant others.

Inspired by the Greek nymph of the sea, luxury accessorizor Givori has created a luxurious new Fine Jewellery collection aptly named Calypso.
Featuring 18 karat gold embedded into a Nokia 8800 handset, the new Calypso collection stuns even the in-the-know luxury hunter. These stunning handsets are handmade in England with natural mother of pearl in a fish-scale design to compliment the gold and make you a believer in myth.
