Well, the word is in about the Verizon & YouTube relationship, & it doesn’t look fantastic. According to Gizmodo, you will be able to access YouTube via your Verizon cell phone for $15 a month.
This deal is expected to be accounced officially later today & next month’s launch is highly anticipated, just in time for the holidays, eh? But here’s the bitter drink, you will not be paying that precious $15 for the YouTube you know (and love), you will be receiving a video service from V Cast and will not be an exact replica of the YouTube website.
Hmmm, what do you make of that? Still worth the 15 bucks a month? I guess we’ll just have to try her out & let you know.

Satellite phones are traditionally known for being large, bulky & obtrusive. But there is now, thanks to Globalstar, a new kid on the street.
Globalstar’s new GSP-1700 mobile satellite phones are the smallest, lightest phone that can access the global satellite network. Although it looks like a shotgun met a cell phone, the GSP-1700 only weighs in at 7.1 ounces.
The lithium-charged battery on the world’s smallest satellite phone allows users to communicate for up to four hours & features a standby time of 36 hours. So, no matter where you are, you’re sure to be able to order that pizza; just not sure if you’ll be able to get it delivered!

The MoPod just goes to show you that they will make anything & try to sell it. I know it’s rather cute, but completely ridiculous.
MoPods are adorable cell phone accessories. Their function, besides looking cute & cuddly, is to spin & flash when your cell receive calls or incoming text, as indicated by the pic.
Cost for this teenage frivolity, $9.

I love having the best of both worlds & we can do just that with the Mobile Red Rotary Phone. Ever miss slamming down the phone in anger or hearing that pre-cell phone ring?
Even if you love your mobile there’s no reason not to have everything you want. All you have to do is insert your SIM card & it will utilize your mobile account to allow calls. $500 is a wee steep for me, but you’re probably packing a walletful so, enjoy.

Say hello to your new friend, the LG LP4100. Not only does this new LG have a breath analyzer to detect your blood-alcohol levels, it also sports a very handy feature to stop all this 4AM drunk calling to & from your pals.
When you blow into the LG LP4100 & you have a blood-alcohol level of .08 or more, the cell phone displays an animation of a car swerving on a road & crashing into traffic cones. Actually, if I was drunk & saw this animation, I think I would feel like it was a good thing to try.
The new LG also has a feature where you can program the phone to not allow you to make those dreaded & sometimes easily forgotten 4AM drunk calls to all your pals.
No word as of yet on US premier, but I will most assuredly keep you updated. Especially since I feel Macgyver could make use of this handy new tool.

At last I can take calls underwater! This new waterproof S0902 iWP+ Sony Ericsson cell phone can receive calls underwater, features a 1.3 megapixel camera as well as an MP3 player. What more could you want? Diamonds I guess. Maybe that model is on its way.
