Helihiking, if you hadn’t heard, is hiking by helicopter.  Sounds kinda like cheating, but it’s easier on the legs & back I imagine.

Basically when you’re trying to make a living in the summer when all the snow is melted, you do what you can.  And that’s where helihiking comes in.  Canadian Mountain Holidays has six lodges located in Canada that serve as luxury base camps.  By day you travel to the mountains for a bit of a hike & by night, you enjoy an evening spent by the fireplace.
