Freedom of Creation Meets Prior 2 Lever Custom Football / Soccer Shoe

Freedom of Creation has taken up with the likes of Prior 2 Lever to bring us the world’s first custom football, or soccer shoe, depending upon your location.  The fascinating shoe is “aligned to individual bio-mechanical needs and enhances performance and aids career duration of the athlete”. 

Prior 2 Lever commissioned Freedom of Creation to develop a customized shoe by using ‘digital manufacturing’ which is ”the process of combining a 3D CAD file with any of a variety of innovative manufacturing methods, such as Rapid Manufacturing. As a result, a virtual electronic file is rendered into a solid object with a push of a button, realizing significant economic benefits for the manufacturer, such as elimination of warehouse, stock, assembly processes, extreme reduction in transportation costs and just-in-time production.”

But is it just in time for Manchester United’s broken footballer Wayne Rooney’s Germany chance?  A sad thing, that is.  Well, at least we may finally have found a shoe that will stay on during an entire game.
