Estate Of the Day: New Orleans Condo Development

Well, it’s not exactly an estate, but New Orleans will be seeing its first condo hotel by the year 2009.
Developed by Angelo Farrell & Lee Laporte, Louisiana’s first condominium hotel is planned on being built in the restored Cosmopolitan Hotel in the infamous French Quarter. Looks like Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt will be having more neighbors in just a few short years.
Farrell & Laporte plan on adding a 26-floor tower at the base of the Cosmopolitan Hotel, and hence renaming it to the Royal Cosmopolitan. Has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? Price for condos will range from $349,000 for a simple yet luxurious studio to $875,000 for a penthouse suite.
