We’ve had our fair share of infamous estate foreclosures, but what about 200-year-old farmhouses/restaurants?  Few & far between.

Say hello to a once four-star New Jersey restaurant that is about to face foreclosure.  The Ryland Inn in Readington, New Jersey has been famous for its French cuisine for some time now; but due to an expensive renovation, a downturn in the market & other financial woes, the Ryland Inn is closing its doors.

The foreclosure will effect the restaurant as well as the 200-year-old farmhouse unless the owners are able to come up with the $3.9 million in loans by June 25th.  The restaurant is steeped in history, as it opened back in 1935 & has seen guests as esteemed as President Ronald Reagan.
