Today I couldn’t help but bring you an estate that’s not so much for sale as it is totally intriguing.  I know, I know, but really, it’s hard to resist posting about a shell-shaped house, you try it.

Welcome to Mexico City, where the now infamous Nautilus House takes residence.  Currently occupied by a young couple & their two children, this fascinating property draws the eye with bright, vibrant colors, not to mention the shell-shaped design.

Built using mainly chicken wire & concrete, this quite unique home claims to not only be earthquake proof but also maintenance free.  Now, that’s something to write home about.

Inside, the Nautilus House is all about smooth surfaces & gleaming bathroom fixtures.  While the property is surrounded by the city on three sides, the West view enjoys a beautiful view of the mountains.

A house built just for my playful heart.  What do you think?
