Bombardier Can-Am Spyder Roadster

Goodness, me, can we not think of any other names than Spyder for things on wheels?  Jeez, we have the Mitsubishi Spyder Eclipse, the Toyota MR2 Sypder, the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder & the list goes on & on.  The darn name isn’t even spelled differently.  And now the Bombardier Can-Am Spyder Roadster is here, what are we to do?

If you ask me, the Bombardier Can-Am Spyder Roadster is nothing more than a motorized tricycle for grown ups, but maybe that would be fun.  I really did love my Big Wheels & rode it all over the neighborhood, maybe, just maybe, the Can-Am Spyder can be my grown up version of Big Wheels.  Nope, it’s still a tricycle to me.

For those interested, the Can-Am Spyder “has a 106 horsepower Rotax 990cc V-twin engine, a five-speed transmission, anti-lock brakes and a stability control system.”  Cost, $14,999.
