Beyonce & Jay-Z Buy $40,000 Marcel Wanders Knitted Chair

While in Miami, Florida this past weekend singing sensations & lovebirds Beyonce Knowles & Jay-Z did a bit of shopping.  Where did they do this bit of shopping?

Why at DesignMiami, where some of Dutch designer Marcel Wanders’ lovely creations live!  And that’s where Beyonce reportedly saw, fell in love with & paid more than $40,000 for one of those delightful Knitted Chairs from Wanders.  They are beautiful and made from white cotton with coated epoxy resin.  But isn’t that a little much for a freeking chair?  I guess that’s why I’m not Beyonce & she’s not behind a laptop complaining about how much a doily chair is.
