A Dream House Fit for a Gates
February 10, 2006 | Posted by Allison as Dream Homes at 2:43 pm |
Set on the shores of Lake Washington you will find the 40,000 square foot house of Bill & Melinda Gates. Man, it would take me years to find my eyeglasses if I left them in that room with the red carpet.
I took seven years to build the mansion on a wooded 5-acre compound in the Seattle suburb of Medina. It is a paradise for the fun-loving and young at heart with a trampoline room (I think he stole my idea), 20-seat theatre, arcade, a 24-screen video wall, sport court, water skiing dock & 2 spas.
If you are the Gates’ you will also enjoy your 37,000 square foot 20-car garage ($30 million), indoor swimming pool, sauna, 1700 square foot guest house, formal dining room, library, reception hall for 100 people (just in case) & your very own man-made trout stream. Worth, $53,392,000.

I know! You would constantly be discovering new rooms and keep saying, “Oh yeah, I remember this one.” I almost feel like you could break into the place and live there, you probably wouldn’t be found for years. : D

There are many defects:
1. It is not maintenance free.
2. It will not stay for ever.
3. Residents will not stay for ever.
4. The couple is just care taker of it. They will leave it behind for somebody else.
5. It does not have river of honey or river of milk, or river of pure and healthy
water.
6. Living in it will cost tons of money.

You wouldn’t need the gym room because he would get enough exercise just going round hoovering the place. . . but then again, he probably has a maid, lazy bastard! Or a self-controlling hoover no doubt!

What the hell, Why do you need a house as big as that for. It is not going to do much fro you is it? I my house mande me a perfect cup of tes in the morning than maybe I might get a house like that. with technology at the tip of your hands, yuo could tell where anyone is in you house without moving a muscle.
