Modern Double Rocker

November 6, 2006 | Posted by Allison as Furniture at 1:00 pm | Comments »

modern-double-rocker-11-6-2006.jpgYour furniture should be more than just a place to sit or lay down, it should be a conversation piece, a work of art.

And that’s exactly what this Modern Double Rocker is.  This contemporary rocker allows  you & a pal to rock the day away.  I think it would be a perfect addition to any office setting, add a little spice to the workplace.  And you know what?  Those two, bickering employees should be made to rock together for at least an hour a day to work those bitter words away.  A rock a day keeps the employees gay?

I love it, one in pink please!

X-Treme Elmo Holilday Gift Idea

November 6, 2006 | Posted by Allison as Holiday Gift Ideas at 12:30 pm | Comments »

extreme-elmo-toy-11-6-2006.jpgWell, Fisher-Price is trying again this holiday season to make it big with another Elmo.  This “X-Treme” Elmo has three interactive tickle spots- on his chin, tummy & toes.

What the new X-Treme Elmo does:  the first time you tickle the red monster, he slaps his knee & sits on the floor, laughing almost without end.  Then Elmo rocks himself back up & wouldn’t you believe it, asks for more!  Tickle Elmo again and he falls to the floor, kicks his feet wide in the air, scoots across the floor on his back and does the whole cycle over again.

Wow, that is indeed an extreme Elmo.  But for $40, is he worth it?  You tell me.

Well, no matter how you feel about punk-pop singer P!nk’s talent or lack thereof, the lady has signed with German company Trekstor to release a P!nk edition MP3 player.

The new MP3 player is fairly slim, compact, quiet when you need it to be & not badly priced, so this new MP3 has nothing in common with the real Pink it looks like.  The player comes in two options, pink/silver with white LEDs or black/silver with pink LEDs, both options come preloaded with images of the punky singer which you’ll immediately have to take off once you’ve received it.

All in all, I’m giving this one a thumbs down, way down.
