Why I was just sitting around the house yesterday wishing I had a foldable cardboard bed to sleep upon. And lo & behold- here she is, the Itbed.
The Itbed is a semi-clever fold-up bed made from 7mm thick cardboard. While I agree with the Cool Hunter that this product is functional & compact, I’m going to have to pull a thumbs down on this one. Sure it fits tightly into an unnoticed corner, but does this thing actually look comfortable? I feel like it would crush to the floor the minute I put my head down to count sheep. I feel like this is one very small step up from sleeping in a box. Actually, I think I’d rather sleep in a box- at least I know I won’t be crushing anything.

Do you have some free time on your hands & want to learn more about face recognition technology & which celebrity you resemble? Well, then head on over to My Heritage and check out if you’re a Reese Witherspoon or a Jack Black.
My Heritage uses Face Recognition Technology algorithms to match your face with a celebrity that looks most like you. It takes a few seconds & a close-up photo of yourself, and it is surprisingly addictive.
I have now uploaded five photographs of myself and I keep getting back that I’m a 72% Queen Rania & a 64% Mischa Barton. Apparently if I was a gentleman, I would be bad boy Irishman Colin Farrell. Well, at least I wouldn’t be K-Fed.

Well, if you want to know your body weight & fat ratio you can now do it Bluetooth style. Tanita’s BC-502 weight scale with fat sensor can tell you just about everything you need to know.
If you want to know your weight, just step aboard the BC-502 and if you want to know you BMI & fat ratio, just prompt the small current & you’ll have an answer in moments. I guess they’re still working on the whole fortune telling part….
Now, what makes the Tanita BC-502 different from other units is that it has the ability to be connected to your PC using a USB cable. So now you can chart your progress in losing or gaining weight, I fall into the former category myself. But the BC-502 doesn’t stop there, no sir- you have a Bluetooth module that can sync up with your phone, so you don’t even have to bend over to read the scale! Wow!- I just need someone to put my shoes on in the morning & I won’t ever had to bend down!

Looking at Engadget today, I was filled with a strong sensation of relief. It looks like my PS3 worries are now calmed with the new Sony release stating that the base PS3 is upgradeable.
“With the recent rumors of the low-end PS3 sporting wired controllers and a non-upgradeable HDD, things weren’t looking good for Sony fanboys without a whole $600 to blow on the next-gen console. Luckily, Sony has squashed those rumors, stating that both configurations will support Bluetooth controllers, and that the hard drive will be upgradeable just like a computer. A Sony representative went on to state that you’ll also be able to purchase a WiFi adapter and a memory card reader for the console, leaving the HDMI port as the only feature you won’t be able to match with ad hoc upgrades. Sure, it’d be nice to have it all in there in the first place, but we’ll take what we can get.”
OK, I can now rest easy with the Sony PS3. But I just don’t think I’ll be able to give up my Xbox 360 Oblivion.

Davide Succi gets techy & is proposing an MP3 wrist watch. The watch will come in 128MB & a 256MB version. It will support MP3, WMA & ADPCM music formats- so it basically does everything but vinyl.
You load the music of your choice through a USB 1.1 interface. The MP3 watch has a built-in microphone for voice-recording, so you can blackmail your boss easily. The lithium battery charges in 1.5 hours with a play-time of 4.5 hours. The watch can also be used as a file storage or USB flash disk. Wow, I just need a watch and I’m set to go, wherever.

How lavish can you make a cell phone? Try encrusting it with 120 carats worth of WS-1 grade diamonds and I think you have the title of Most Bling Cell Phone.
Designer Emmanuel Gueit & Goldvish have designed the million dollar cell phone. Along with your 120 carats of sparkling diamonds, you get Bluetooth, a camera with 8x digital zoom, MP3 playback, FM radio & an EDGE connection with your mobile phone.
If a cool million is slightly out of your price range, Goldvish has several other diamond-encrusted 18K gold models starting at $25,600.
