18th Century Russian Mini Portrait Sold At Auction

A miniature portrait of 18th century Russian Czar Peter the Great has just sold at auction for $1.3 million.
Sotheby’s auction house hosted the event where the diamond-encrusted frame received much attention. This mini portrait pictured with Czar in blue cape and sash, there are thought to be 10 of these minis given to Peter’s subjects during his Russian reign.
